The next day I took the ferry over to the south island. I rented a car here. They drive on the opposite side of the road and opposite side of the car. I posted this apology after the drive: "

It really was pretty entertaining. I got a GPS, which was genius, except the time it told me to go right at the round-about. It did not so much mean right the way you and I think of right! But I did make it to my destination with no wrecks or casualties... very thankful!
