Hold You!

I was thinking this week about God being Father and what a comfort it is to know that the God of the Universe is who I can run to.  That He is always there and that we can call Him Abba.  And while at staff prayer we were singing and I went to raise my hands and thought about kids when they hold up there hands and say... "hold you!" And was drawn into the fact that we can call out to God at any time and say... "hold you" and He is right there to lift us up.  What an amazing comforting gift!
Have you run to Him lately and let Him HOLD YOU?

Romans 8: 14-16
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.
